Create Timetable

School ERP should be able to create timetable. It should ensure to covering all subjects. Teachers should be allocated to classes and subjects based on their ability and availability.

Syllabus coverage

School ERP should be able to assist schools to ensure that the syllabus also gets covered based on the no. of classes assigned to specific subject. It should also allocate content in proportion to the academic schedule.

Exams coverage

School ERP should be able to include exams scheduling as part of overall school timetable. It should keep aside the time for exams and calculate the syllabus coverage considering exams as well.

Teacher allocation

School ERP must ensure that the timetable allocates teachers based on the minimum and maximum allocation set by school. If any teacher is under or over allocated, ERP should flag those scenarios.

Class Timetable View

Students should be presented with the section wise view of weekly timetable. It should also highlight the days, periods, subjects and teachers. Teacher timetable view should be able to highlight the class.

Teacher Timetable View

School ERP should present each teacher with her view of Timetable. It will ensure that Teacher is always aware of the class-section she need to go to, the subject and the exact content she is supposed to cover.

Analytical reports

School ERP should ensure that the principal is able to have a bird’s eye view of the overall teachers’ allocation. She should also be able to see the progress on a daily basis.

    Planning for Timetable is always a tedious work. It starts with defining the academic schedule followed by defining periods for each schedule. It also includes defining the syllabus for each class. Syllabus should also define the overall hours/periods required by each subject.
